New Sheriff in Town

SKU: WSNST2BTL

The story of our founder is as long as it is colorful. One of California’s first sheriffs, Agoston Haraszthy was elected the Sheriff of San Diego County in 1850. He built the first jail and served two exciting years before moving north to pursue “purple gold” and the perfect terroir for fine wines. He found it in Sonoma County, where he established Buena Vista Winery in 1857.
The Sheriff Red Blend unveils a saturated garnet brilliance, radiating with captivating aromas of crimson currant, sun-drenched blackberry, and a whisper of blooming gardenia. Medium in body, it glides across the palate with a silken, indulgent texture and graceful, sculpted tannins. Nuanced undertones of aromatic herbs and decadent dark cocoa lend complexity to the succulent, richly layered fruit. The finish is lingering, opulent, and profoundly satisfying.

The Deputy Red Blend is crafted from meticulously selected grapes sourced from prestigious vineyards across California; this wine is a masterful blend that showcases depth and complexity. It opens with an inviting bouquet of dark fruits, elegantly layered with warm hints of cinnamon and clove. On the palate, herbaceous undertones intertwine with delicate notes of vanilla and ripe strawberry, leading to a beautifully balanced finish that lingers with grace and refinement.
