N° 68 Malbec 2017
Powerful
As POWERFUL as Elizabeth Taylor, these are the boldest reds of the bunch - inky, age-worthy wines that are dense and concentrated in flavor. These strong, heavyweight reds tend to be premium wines from thick-skinned grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah.

For Jean-Charles Boisset, wine transports you to RICH new worlds and far off places. While DARK and enticing upon first glance, our N° 68 Malbec is JUICY and satisfying, a true journey for the senses.
In 1868 a new grape from Old World France was brought across the treacherous seas to the New World in Argentina: Malbec. This foray into the New World brought about new chances for creative expression and passion to arise and be celebrated. In the same way, Jean-Charles ventured across the ocean to ignite his creative passions and to craft exquisite wines that unite the Old and New worlds.

A plush and enticing red wine, this 2017 Malbec offers vibrant aromas of black plum, all spice, and espresso. On the palate flavors of reduced blackberry, baker’s chocolate, and boysenberry are complimented by hints of sandalwood. Both dark fruit and savory forward in profile, this rich wine has supple yet refined tannins, and a satisfying finish.
